Dr Conrad Murray Found Guilty and Taken into Custody In Michael Jackson's Death Trial

Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray, has been found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of the star by a jury in Los Angeles. A panel of seven men and five women took two days of deliberation to reach a verdict.

Michael Jackson’s personal doctor, Conrad Murray, sat expressionless as the court clerk read the jury's decision:

"We, the jury, in the above entitled action find the defendant Conrad Murray guilty of the crime of involuntary manslaughter".

Murray was then handcuffed and taken into custody.

Michael Jackson died on 25 June 2009 from an overdose of the powerful anaesthetic propofol. Dr Conrad Murray, 58, could now receive a maximum prison term of four years and lose his licence to practise medicine.

The question on every lip today is why would Murray kill Jackson? That tells you of the kind of world we are living in.
